Collecting Information About You

Virginia Institute Press is the sole owner of the information collected on this site.  Virginia Institute Press does not sell, share, or rent this information to any third parties, except as outlined in this policy for legitimate business purposes.  Virginia Institute Press collects information from its customers to process transactions, and to provide services such as order confirmation, notices, and status updates.

The information Virginia Institute Press collects includes clients and institutions names, mailing addresses, billing addresses, a contact telephone number (which is only used if there is a problem processing an order), e-mail address (required for any and all online transactions), and payment information such as credit card and purchase order numbers.  To protect the confidentiality of our customers’ user names and other confidential data, we ask customers not to share this information with anyone.
